Ø Must be older than 101/2 and have not reached their 15th birthday by the 4th January 2010
Ø Must be an Invested and Registered Scout
Ø Must have been awarded the Pioneer Badge by the 30th September 2009
Ø Must have camped 10 nights under canvas as a Scout, 3 of which must have been consecutive
Ø Must have the endorsement of the Scout Leader and be considered by their parents/guardians to be of sufficient maturity to successfully participate in a Jamboree
Ø Must be supported by their Group Leader and by the Contingent Leader
JUNIOR SERVICE LEADERS (Venturer Scouts)
Ø Registered members of a Venturer Unit, at least 16 years of age on 4th January 2010 & not older than 18 years at the conclusion of the Jamboree.
Ø Recommended by the Unit Council and Venturer Leader and Group Leader
Ø Approved by the Venturer Commissioner and supported by the Contingent Leader.
The National Venture Council has developed a set of criteria and conditions for Venturers attending a Jamboree as Junior Service Leaders. To enable Venturers to make decisions as to their participation in the Jamboree, these documents should be considered.

ROVERS
Ø Registered members of a Rover Crew at least 18 years of age, but not older than 26 years, at 4th January 2010 will be accepted as Service Leaders.
Ø Must be recommended as suitable to attend by their RA/BRC and approved by the Contingent Leader.
LEADERS
Ø All registered Leaders (from any Section) and Rovers that attend the Jamboree must be part of the ACT Contingent.
Ø All Leaders must hold a Certificate of Adult Appointment as at 30th September 2009.
Ø Appointed Adult Support Members can also attend.
Ø Must be recommended as suitable to attend by their Group Leader or next appropriate Level of Commissioner, and approved by the Contingent Leader
Ø All Adults Attending the Jamboree are required to have a Police Clearance
All ACT participants must apply via the ACT contingent. All applicants must be part of their home Contingent and pay the appropriate Jamboree fee including a Contingent fee.
All applicants must be recommended by their Group and/or responsible Commissioner as suitable members of the contingent.
All applicants are reminded that their attendance at the Jamboree is a privilege, not a right, and that behaviour standards will be monitored over the period from point of application acceptance to and including participation in the Jamboree to ascertain and maintain attendance eligibility. If accepted rules of behaviour for a jamboree are not adhered to the participant a participant will be sent home at their own expense.
